George鈥檚 Story
A former Royal Marine, George has been widely recognised for his service to both the Armed Forces and the Fire Service.
George went to live in Royal Star & Garter鈥檚 Solihull Home in 2016 where, as a sportsman, he has relished the challenge of physiotherapy. With his great sense of humour, George is a popular figure.

Frank鈥檚 Story
鈥淔rank lived in and around Glasgow until he joined the Navy in 1953. He served aboard HMS Albion and managed to see the world.
He has received support from the Physiotherapy team to improve his balance and stability and he is regularly invited to attend the weekly exercises classes. For Frank, Erskine means a safe environment filled with choice.
Living alone with his health issues made Frank very vulnerable, but at Erskine he has the care and support which he needs to keep him healthy and safe.鈥
