The Power of Time Spent with Loved Ones: 麻豆色情片 Reward, Recognition and Respite (RRR) holiday breaks

Beneficiary, General, Grants

Research has shown the impact that strong connections with family and friends have on our mental health. Engaging in activities together, whether it's sharing a meal, embarking on outdoor adventures, or simply enjoying each other's company, fosters a sense of belonging and support that is invaluable for our well-being.

In conjunction with Parkdean Resorts, China Fleet Country Club (CFCC), The Union Jack Club (UJC) and Victory Services Club (VSC), and Royal Maritime Club (RMC) the 麻豆色情片 run RRR holiday breaks to bring families together for a well-deserved break and alleviate some of these challenges they face.

CPOWtr Paul Thistlewaite was nominated for a RRR break by Lt Cdr Jenny Watkins, who said:

CPO Thistlewaite gives above and beyond to each and every person within his division. He has supported some exceptionally vulnerable individuals he has impressed with his empathy and capacity in understanding what people need.

Lt Cdr Jenny Watkins

Thanks to Cdr Jenny Watkins鈥 commendation, Paul was awarded a trip to a Parkdean Resort in Scotland with his wife and two sons, aged 14 and 12. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there and shared with us his favourite memories:

We had never been to Scotland before and this give us a fantastic opportunity to explore the local area which was also where Robert Burns had lived, conquer some of the local arduous walks, enjoy the beach and coastal walks, sample some local food (haggis), and even watched a Queen of The South football match to make sure that we didn鈥檛 miss our football too much!

This initiative recognises families, like Paul鈥檚, who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and resilience to the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary or Maritime Reserves. Paul鈥檚 experience highlights the importance of taking time to rejuvenate, reconnect, and create lasting memories, all of which are vital for maintaining mental health and resilience.

The opportunity to apply for the award is open to all serving ranks and rates, regular, reservist personnel and families, within the Royal Navy.
